Ty Weatherly appeared in 11 games for the Pistol Shrimp in 2022, pitching 43 innings with 71 strikeouts and a 3.35 ERA.

After 5 seasons at Ball State University, Weatherly was signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 MLB Draft with the Baltimore Orioles. 

In 5 games with the Single-A Delmarva Shorebirds in 2023, Weatherly pitched 11.2 innings with 14 strikeouts and a 2.31 ERA. In 13 games with the Shorebirds in 2024, he pitched 35.2 innings with 48 strikeouts and a 2.02 ERA.

Weatherly was promoted to the High-A Aberdeen Iron Birds for the 2025 season.
