One of the most decorated Pistol Shrimp of all time, Justin Rios played three full seasons with the Pistol Shrimp from 2021-2023. Rios appeared in 124 games in the field, playing stellar outfield defense, and recording 84 hits, 23 doubles, 53 walks, 74 runs scored, and 50 runs batted in with .268 AVG, .399 OBP, and .371 SLG. He also made 38 appearances on the mound from the left side grabbing 90 strikeouts, 5 wins, 2 saves, and a 6.28 ERA.

At North Central College, Rios was a three-time All-Conference selection from 2021-23. Over his 162 games played, Rios hit .325 with 169 hits, 117 runs, 65 walks, 33 doubles, a .440 slugging percentage, and a .424 on-base percentage. He also made 39 appearances on the mound for the Cardinals with 58 strikeouts, 5 saves, and 4 wins.

Rios signed his first professional contract, with the Frontier League's Joliet Slammers, prior to the start of the 2024 season.
